Learn Survival Skills
Learn Survival Skills
On Saturday August 24 from 12pm to 1pm at the Douglas County Museum in Tuscola, the Staff from the Anita Purves Nature Center will show you some of the key skills you’ll need the next time you’re stranded on a desert island. Learn to create fire with flint and steel or try your hand at a bow drill, practice navigating by compass in the wilderness, and develop some first-aid skills with natural materials.
Activities will be appropriate for both adults and children ages 6 and up with a guardian. Come prepared to take risks and have fun. Free to attend!
