Parks Dept.
Located at Main Street and North Line Road, Ervin Park is filled with active recreational facilities for all ages. Prairie Land Pride Playground is an adventure waiting to happen for young children – a completely enclosed, safety-engineered mini-village with slides, swings, City Hall, Fire Department, and many other “City” amenities. Several other playgrounds are also spread throughout the park.
Opened in 1957, the Tuscola Ervin Park swimming pool is a local summer tradition!
The pool is a full sized, full depth main pool with diving well equipped with springboards and a 72' long water tube slide. Additionally, the area features a wading pool for small children, a pavilion seating area for picnics, Tropical-Sno shaved ice operation and vending machine concessions.
Located in Historic Downtown Tuscola, Festival Corner brings back the old town square with a flair. The centerpiece is a beautiful, cedar Victorian gazebo, ringed with landscaping, benches, antique streetlights, and brick sidewalks.
Surrounding Wimple Pond at the end of Hillcrest Drive, Wimple Park is the perfect place to relax while taking in the Great Outdoors. Catch bluegill, catfish, and bass while fishing from the shore, take a walk with man’s best friend, or just relax under a shade tree.
