Kick off the holiday season in Tuscola!  A fun weekend full of activities- including a parade, 5K, vendor fair, ice skating and more!

Santa Shop Wednesday Dec 2 4pm-8pm

Gifts will range from $1 to $10. Your kids will get to go shopping for their family with our helpers! We will also wrap your child’s gifts when they are done shopping. You will set a spending limit when you fill out the shopping form.
All proceeds benefit Douglas County Relay for Life & The American Cancer Society! Registration is required at the link above. Walk ins are welcome from 7pm-8pm and last walk-ins accepted at 7:40pm.

 

Santa Drive-thru  Saturday Dec 4, 8-11 at the Douglas  County Museum

Individually bagged treats will be distributed to children in vehicles and the child will be able to pick out a toy.  Santa will be on-site for outdoor and distanced pictures! Cars can enter on the west side of our lot, drive alongside our mural (where treat bags and toys will be located and exit by the door.)

 

Afternoon on Ice- Sunday Dec. 5, 2pm-6pm

TCHS Class of 2022 along with local sponsors would like to invite you to "An Afternoon On Ice".
We will have an ice rink (synthetic surface) set up in the parking lot west of the Senior Center along Parke St. from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, December 5th. Concessions will be for sale inside the Community Building, including a hot cocoa bar. We'll have kids crafts, face painting/tattoos, opportunities for you to take pictures with friends and family, possible appearances from a few Christmas characters AND Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there from 4pm-5pm.
The cost for the event is $5 per person. The only additional cost will be concessions.
*If there are several people waiting to get on the rink, time will be limited to 20 minutes per trip on the rink.*

 

Drive-through Navitiy Sunday Dec 5, 5pm - 7pm

Tuscola Area Ministerial Alliance invites you to drive thru Ervin Park to see the live nativity!

Nativity will be located toward the back of the park.

>  Monday's regularly scheduled Tuscola City Council meeting has been rescheduled to today WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2024.  The previously posted meeting agenda will remain the same.

> Waste Management cancelled their operations for Monday, pushing their garbage collection schedule back one day for the rest of the week.  City of Tuscola residents garbage day will be THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2024

Now Hiring Lifeguards!

The Tuscola Pool is now hiring lifeguards, and aspiring lifeguards, for the 2024 summer season!  Please apply on-line at https://tuscola.org/pool-apply  

Lifeguards must be at least 15 years old, be able to complete City-provided training classes, and become certified in order to be hired.
