At the City Council meeting, held on May 28, 2019, Tuscola Mayor Kleiss administered the oath of office to Alderwoman Terra Waldrop for her first full term. Waldrop began serving the city as alderwoman in 2016 when she was appointed to fill the vacancy of Mark Maxey, who had moved out of his ward and resigned his seat. She was then elected to fill the same seat for a partial term from 2017-2019. Waldrop was elected in April for a full 4-year term 2019-2023.
