The Mayor is, by authority given in the Illinois Liquor Control Act, the Local Liquor Control Commissioner and is charged with enforcing the provisions of the Act and local ordinances relating to liquor control.

CLASS “A” LIQUOR LICENSE – PERMITS THE SALE AT RETAIL OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN A RESTAURANT, OVER THE COUNTER AND TO BE CONSUMED ON LICENSED PREMISES AND IN ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND NOT TO BE CONSUMED ON LICENSED PREMISES. COST IS $1,000.00 PER YEAR.
CLASS “B” LIQUOR LICENSE-PERMITS THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND NOT TO BE CONSUMED ON LICENSED PREMISES. COST IS $750.00 PER YEAR. HAVE 6 LICENSES ALL TOGETHER, HAVE USED 5, SO HAVE ONE AVAILABLE.
CLASS “C” LIQUOR LICENSE – PERMITS THE SALE AT RETAIL OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR BY A CLUB, OVER THE COUNTER AND TO BE CONSUMED ON THE LICENSED PREMISES. COST IS $310.50 PER YEAR. HAVE 3 LICENSES ALL TOGETHER, HAVE USED 1, SO HAVE 2 STILL AVAILABLE.
CLASS “E” LIQUOR LICENSE – PERMITS THE SALE AT RETAIL OF BEER AND WINE ONLY IN ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND NOT TO BE CONSUMED ON LICENSED PREMISES. COST IS $625.00 PER YEAR
